Coming to Portugal GP : Pedrosa Can Appear Confident at Estoril

Coming to Portugal GP : Pedrosa Can Appear Confident at Estoril - Dani Pedrosa is confident he will perform at this weekend's Portuguese Grand Prix. Repsol Honda rider has been absent in the last three series, following a shoulder injury suffered during practice in Motegi Circuit, Japan, 1 October.

Actually, at the Australian GP last weekend, Pedrosa also been taking part since the exercise. But after following qualifying at Phillip Island circuit, the Spanish rider was not ready, so he eventually withdrew from the race.

Well, for the sake of securing his position as runners-up 2010 MotoGP Ducati rider was from the threat of Casey Stoner, Pedrosa should not be absent again in the last two series. Section, is currently collecting Stoner 205 points total, only 23 adrift of Pedrosa.

Nevertheless, Pedrosa still had to take into account the reality of his physical condition. If later on the practice session at Estoril Circuit he was not comfortable, it is not impossible absent Pedrosa back in the race.

"We returned to the track this weekend at Estoril, and in principle, the situation was better than when I was in Australia," said Pedrosa. "Estoril circuit was not much in demand as in Phillip Island and this may help me to feel more comfortable being on top of the motor. In addition, I also have a longer recovery time, so hopefully a lot of help.

"Injuries of this kind takes time and healing after more than two weeks, I want to see how its development. I've visited the doctor on Tuesday, to lift the seam, and the former has good seams.

"I also have done some rehabilitation measures in the muscles and I feel stronger. But I am not sure how much difference until I was riding a motorcycle on Friday morning (first practice).

"Also, I thought it would be very positive that there will be two practice again on Friday, as happened in Aragon. With regard to the layout tracks, Estoril has some hard braking areas and bumpy, but this circuit has more curve to the right compared to the left, so not too much trouble for us. Therefore, I am looking forward to racing there with my team and see how it feels.
