Chaz Davies continues to lead the way in the World Supersport class at Monza, the ParkinGO Yamaha rider edging his teammate Luca Scassa in the first qualifying session to take provisional pole. Step Racing's Gino Rea is the only rider currently able to keep pace with the Yamahas, the Londoner finishing just two tenths off Davies' time. Ten Kate's Florian Marino is 4th quickest, but the young Frenchman is nearly three quarters of a second behind Davies, and ahead of Motocard.com Kawasaki's Broc Parkes and local Yamaha man Roberto Tamburini.
